Electro-Gen 2000™

Manufacturer: Prorestore Products
Uses: This is a water based thermal fogger.
After a house/building fire, we will fog most of your items first before transporting to our facility for cleaning. This will stabalise your item until ready for the next stage of the restoration.
Also can be used to treat general smoke damage odour in buildings.
Air Scrubber / Hepa Filtration
This is a unit we use frequently for fire restoration and mould remediation work. Its task is to filter out air contaminates during a restoration of a property. This unit can filter contaminates up to 0.3 microns which include some mould spores and fine soot particles. It can also be effective at removing smoke odour through the use of a carbon filter attachment. This is an attachment that we connect to the end of our water extractor. Basically it works faster at extracting water than an ordinary carpet wand because it uses your body weight on the carpet to squeeze and suck the water out of the carpet underlay / padding. |
![]() |
The end result is a dryer carpet at the end of extraction meaning that we may not have to remove your carpet or float your carpet to dry it down. Basically we may be able to leave your carpets in place while it is being dried down. This can aid in preventing shrinkage and damage to carpet under the carpet gripper strips.
Having said this, we have found the water claw to work well mostly with foam underlay. Also it seems that most new carpet installations in Brisbane have foam underlay as opposed to rubber underlay.
Ace Turbo Dryer
We have over 30 ace turbo dryers available. These fans are usually used to dry carpets, walls or anything that is wet. The main advantage of these units over an ordinary air mover is:

7 Different Positions for drying
We use the Drizeaz Brand and Phoenix dehumidifiers. The types of models we operate are:
![]() |
Phoenix R200 – In our opinion, this is the best compact restoration dehumidifier on the market today. This unit only uses 3.7 amps! Therefore saving you money in electricity while help saving the environment. It can remove 52 L of water out a day. This dehumidifier uses the latest technology in dehumidification today. |
![]() |
LGR1200 – We commonly use this model to dry down an average sized bedroom. The Power usage is about 2.4 amps. While not as powerful as other models we operate, it has proven to withstand the test of time, many of our 1200 units have clocked over 10 000 hours with regular maintenance. |
![]() |
Evolution LGR – This model is one of the most efficient dehumidifiers for their size available. This dehumidifier is only a fraction larger than the LGR 1200 but it can pull up to 56.7 L of moisture a day. Its design also makes it convenient to attach ducting to the unit so dry air can be ducted into wet cavities or directly onto wet timber floors. |
![]() |
LGR2000 – This is our largest dehumidifier which we carry and it can remove up to 80 L of water per day at saturation point. It uses around 4 amps of power. This unit works well in larger spaces such as a lounge room, living area or on commercial sites. |
We use low grain refrigerant dehumidifiers which work well in most Queensland climates. A dehumidifier when teamed up with air movers can create a excellent dry down envirosnment to take the moisture out of your carpet, underlay, subfloor and wall ceiling structure.
We use Dri-eaze and Pheonix dehumidifiers which are among the most reliable dehumidifiers in the industry. Some of its unique features include:
- Each dehumidifier is treated with antimicrobial at the time of injection moulding which can help avoid fungal or mould growth on the machines themselves. This reduces the risk of cross contamination when the unit is moved between job sites.
- Waste water is automatically pumped out rather than kept inside the unit.
A low grain refrigerant dehumidifier works just like a fridge or air conditioner. Basically it works to take the moisture out of the air by using condensation. This process is made more efficient by using a pre-cooling device which automatically cools the air before it is goes through the condensation process. The water that has been taken out of the air is then pumped out of the room or pumped into an enclosed container.
Odorox Hydroxyl Processor

It is a green technology that safely disinfects and removes odours to help create a healthy environment. Learn more about our Odorox Hydroxyl Generator. |
Water Claw Flood Extractor
This device in some instances will save us having to remove the carpet and carpet underlay. When hooked up to our Prochem truck mount extractor it delivers a more powerful extraction. The extra weight provided by the technician standing on the machine provides exceptional suction which cannot be matched by a carpet wand (in some cases). |

ATP tester is a device we use for onsite contaminate testing. It can be used for
This unit is very useful since the results are instant and there is no need to wait for the samples to be sent to a laboratory. |
Hepa Vacuum Cleaning Bench

Designed by Warren Moir, this hepa vacuum bench is used to decontaminate mouldy books and documents. The following video which we produced explains it all:
TurboVent® InterAir Drying System™
![]() |
![]() |
This is an attachment that goes on the end of the our air movers. In the above picture you can see that we have drilled holes underneath a cabinet and vented the air into the cavity using the turbo vent. It is important to dry in these cavities or you may get sick from mould growth. It can also lead expensive cabinet replacement in the future.
RCD (Residual Current Device)
![]() |
A Safety switch is a safety device which trips when it senses any leakage of current to earth. The safety switch will can help protect people against electrical shock. An RCD also provides circuit protection which helps protect against property damage or fire. See the related video which explains how we used an RCD unit below: |
Dri-Eaz Turbo Channel
A useful piece of equipment that we use to dry stubborn areas such as around toilets, kick panels and skirting boards. It also significantly reduces the noise of the blower as much as 10 decibels. We have used this unit effectively to dry skirting boards in commercial hallways. |
|
We use thermal floggers for deodorising smoke damaged properties. They release a fine fog with odour reducing chemical which penetrates and neutralises particles as small as .25 microns. When there is a fire, smoke can penetrate the walls of ceilings, floors, HVAC systems etc. Thermal fogging can be used to release the odours in these pours. They are particularly useful for deodorising in voids in structures which may be difficult to reach. |

Slurpe Waste Mate
![]() Picture of Slurpe Waste Mate next to extraction machine |
This is quite a useful tool for pumping out water from our water extraction machine as it is being used. For instance, if your property is in ankle deep water, we can connect this machine to our normal extraction machine. When connected to our extraction machine it will automatically pump out most of the waste water before it even hits the extraction machine. We generally use this machine when there are large amounts of water inside a building which need to be extracted. Sometimes when there is too much water to extract, the water extraction machine may have trouble keeping up. This is when we install the waste mate. See below picture to see it working. |
Another time the slupe is used is when it is left in place connected to an extraction machine over a period of time to handle constant water ingress into a property.

This unit is used to dry inside high risk hidden areas with moisture including inside ceilings and inside walls with water tight finishes. For instance, if you have water stuck inside a wall we can drill small holes about 3mm in diameter and vent air though multiple little holes into the wall (see below picture). There are many ways that we can dry inside a wall, this is just one method we can use.
The Injectidry can also be used to dry flooded timber and wood floors. Rather than blowing air out to dry it works by sucking air through vacuum panels placed on a timber floor. See the picture below.
Drieaz ActivO Ozone Generator
This is a workhorse for our fire damage restoration jobs. This unit produces ozone to remove soot smell. Extremely effective and used in 90% of fire damage jobs. This particular unit has capacity to deodorise a large house and has inbuilt safety features which other competing machines do not have. This machine will inform us when the ozone treatment is complete and will deactivate the ozone automatically making it safer than other zone machines. |

Delmhorst Moisture Meter
![]() |
We use the Delmhorst Total Check moisture meter which is both a non-penetrating and penetrating moisture metre. We can penetrate the surface of the wet material to determine the moisture as a percentage inside the material. We can also use the non-penetrating option which involves us placing the back of the moisture metre on the surface of the material. This isn’t as accurate as the penetrating option however it is not invasive. |
This moisture metre can also determine the following:

Method we use for testing moisture in concrete: When starting to dry down the building the relative humidity will be at a high level which will be gradually reduced over the dry down period. Therefore, it is important for us to regularly monitor the humidity when drying down a building. It will give us a good indication of how well the structure is drying down. Using this meter we can effectively measure the moisture of:
We also use the hammer probe attatchment (pictured right) to find moisture levels in a wood floor. |
Pressure Cleaner with Extractor (Truck Mount)

Applications
We use the Prochem Legend model truck mount which is capable of cleaning hard surfaces up to 1200 psi. An important feature of this machine is that it extracts the waste water as it is being used (see picture) making it perfect for using indoors or in areas sensitive to waste water. |
High Pressure Cleaner
Applications
Our high pressure cleaner cleans up to 3000 psi which makes it useful for cleaning outdoor surfaces in flood damage and fire restorations. |

Portable Plastic Containment Barriers
![]() |
This item is used in mould remediation where there is a section of the building which needs to be blocked off so that it does not cross contaminate other sections of the building. Generally we will conduct our mould remediation works within this barrier and even dehumidify, dry and filter the air inside this barrier. Plastic containment barriers are also useful in water damage restoration where there is only one little section of an entire building which may be wet. In this case, we can erect a containment barrier in this area and control the humidity by using a dehumidifier. This is a far more efficient way of drying down the affected area than simply controlling the humidity in the entire building. |
